 תומר איפרגן

I am a macroeconomist interested in understanding how the behaviour of workers, firms and their interaction shape macroecononomic outcomes like welfare, productivity, and growth.

My current research combines theory and data to study

1. How labor market regulation affects productivity and welfare?

2. How frictions faced by entrepreneurs affect occupational sorting, productivity, developement and wealth inequality?

3. What is the role of misallocation in shaping business cycle dynamics?

I am a senior lecturer (Assistant Professor, tenure track) in The Eitan Berglas School of Economics at Tel Aviv University, and an associate member of the Centre for Macroeconomics (CFM) at LSE.

Primary field: Macroeconomics

Secondary field: Labour economic
